DESCENDENT OF MOHAMMED: A CHRISTIAN

"I never miss an opportunity to testify to Christ.  I have 36 colleagues and they all know that I am a Christian."

Aisha is a young Moroccan lady in her thirties.  Her father was a very respected sherif.  A sherif is a direct descendent of Mohammed.  So Aisha is a great-great-granddaughter of the founder of Islam.  Aisha was practising Islam very faithfully, but after study found that she had great doubts about her faith.

"Why does God want me to be pure and I am not able to be so?" Aisha was asking herself.  And she decided that if God wanted her to be pure, he would help her do something about it!

Then she received a Bible, and soon found herself "completely lost between Islam and Christianity".  She had a long heart-searching time as the Lord worked on her.  Finally, she had a dream and became a Christian in secret.   At the beginning, she onle spoke about her conversion to her brothers and to her mother.  For many years, her mother could not accept the fact that her daughter was Chrisitan but gradually has come to terms with it.  Aisha is now teaching Arabic.   According to her, 4 of her 62 female students are Christians now and the others "have great doubts about Islam".

When Aisha began to talk about her convictionc in the school, she soon got into trouble.  During the following eight months, the principal spent 14 whole days with her in the classroom, watching her closely.  If Aisha had committed the slightest fault, she would have lost her job.  But now the situation has normailsed and each of Aisha's 36 collegues know about her convictions.
