THE CHRIST OF CHRISTMAS & THE MILLENNIUM.

When Jesus walked this Earth many were thrilled what he had to say. Yet many religious people wanted to hear nothing of His message! How strange! This Christmas you may see a lot of religion amongst the tinsel and crackers but can I encourage you to look deeper. The Christ of Christmas did not come to bring dead religion, but a living daily relationship with Himself!  Jesus tells us in the Gospels that we need to be "Born Again", to start afresh. That all of us are separated from God by going our way not God's. (The Bible calls this Sin). He also says of Himself - "I am the Way the truth and the Life, no one can come to the Father but through me". Over twenty years ago now I came to realise that Jesus was the Way. That if I were to admit to God that I had done things my way (sinned), and ask Him to guide my life on from that point, giving him thanks for sending His Son Jesus to die for me then I would be Born Again.

This I did and from being a person who was unsure where I was going at the end of this life, as well as wondering what was the actual purpose of life I discovered an ASSURANCE, PEACE AND CERTAINTY FOR NOW and THE FUTURE.
