CHANNEL 23
The TV is my shepherd, my spiritual growth shall want.
It makes me sit down and do nothing for the cause of
Christ.
Because it requireth all my spare time.
It keeps me from doing my duty as a Christian
Because there are so many good programmes that I must
see.
It restoreth my knowledge of the things of the world.
It keepeth me from studying God’s
word.
And leadeth me in the paths of missing Sunday worship.
Yea, though I live to be 100, I shall
Keep on viewing my TV as long as it works.
It is my close companion, it’s sound and pictures they
Comfort me.
It representeth entertainment before me and keepeth me
from my family.
It filleth my head with ideas different from those in
the Bible.
Surely no good thing will come of my life
And I will dwell in spiritual poverty for ever!
