So, here we are, at the end of 1999. The Dome is up (just about), the giant wheel is in place (I think) and we are all getting set to celebrate. Some will be celebrating a thousand years of human achievement. Some are at a turning point in time not seen for a thousand years. Some a time to get together with family & friends. Some are just celebrating having made it through another year. What are you personally celebrating?

As a Church we take time to actively Celebrate and share the central place Jesus holds particularly at this time of year, as well as personally, for every Church member. You may well have received this magazine at one of the many local carol singing & charity supporting events with which we are pleased to be able to help as part of our practical Church life locally.

For some the Christmas and New Year time can seem to some to have lost it's sparkle, excitement and meaning with the passing of time. Yet the Jesus, whose birthday millennium we are celebrating, was ushered into the world with an angelic declaration - " Joy to the world on earth peace towards man." A personal Joy and Peace is still available today!!! You are more than welcome to join with us at other local events listed, as well of course as with us on any Sunday.

Let us all remember the old saying "Jesus He's the reason for the Season"
