The cross is the age old symbol of the Christian faith and more and more people are wearing them today - not as jewellery, but because the cross has meaning in their lives.  The cross isn't just history. It's the symbol of the death and resurrection of Jesus which has changed the lives of countless millions of people - it means the end of old things and the beginning of new living in Jesus , in the Holy Spirit. As a Born Again Church, believing in salvation through the blood of Jesus and the Fire of God's Holy Spirit to empower our daily lives, we are wearing a red cross as a distinctive witness of our faith.

If you are already a Church member at Epping Forest Elim, can I encourage you to wear your cross with pride and be ready to share why the cross is important to you!

If you want to know the life giving Jesus we are celebrating, can I say that both I , and others in the Church would love to share with you.
