Can you believe the Advent season is almost with us again. Like me I’m sure you have heard folk commenting on how early adverts and shop displays to do with Christmas have been appearing.

It’s true, seasonal sales are being spread further and further away from Christmas , yet advent , is something to be aware of throughout the year. The coming of Jesus was not just to herald an historical event but especially to proclaim His desire and availability to be at work in our lives throughout the year!

This month we continue to welcome Pastor Andrew , bringing his own "live wire" ministry to us, as well as welcoming Tony Anthony a youth worker , who has kindly agreed to work with the youth up until the Christmas break.

We also welcome varied visiting ministries.

On a personal note , you are probably aware I have been asked by Elim International Missions to travel out to West Africa this month to take part in a Mission in Ghana and Burkina Faso. As well as preaching at the mission in Burkina (One of the poorest countries in the world , with 80% unemployment) , I shall be taking leadership training sessions and representing the UK Elim Churches in discussions with the Ghanaian Church leaders.
