“You will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes upon you”. Acts 1v8

This month sees Pentecost Sunday. A day celebrating the fact that God does not intend us to try to live a life pleasing to Him by our own efforts alone. The Spirit of God is waiting to be released through the life of all who draw near in faith. May this month be a month when we all know and experience a fresh touch of the Spirit of the Living God in our lives.

I am pleased to welcome a team of Bible Students this month, who are training for Christian ministry and will be sharing with us for two to three weeks. They are from the UK, Switzerland and Japan. I am sure they will be a blessing to us, as previous teams have been, and that they will also be blessed by being here.

As well as sharing in our regular activities, on the 19th we are holding this year’s first Baptismal Service, - congratulations to those participating. On the 4th of this month there is also an opportunity to pray God’s Blessing, Peace and Provision over the town of Epping, as, along with members of other Churches, we prayer walk and place Palm Crosses at key points around the town.
