July 2001

I recently read the following - transform

"In 1905, in Vienna, a man was born who has inspired many. His name was Dr Viktor Frankl and at the age of 37 was deported with his parents, to a concentration camp near Prague. By 1945, Frankl had been a prisoner in four different camps, including Auschwitz, having lost his parents and family. During those years, Frankl observed that those who survived longest (given the chance to survive) were those who had hopes and aspirations beyond their current situation. Frankl's theory is, in essence, that a man's ultimate drive is for meaning. More than power or pleasure, people want (perhaps need) to aspire to significance. "

The Gospel message is about transforming lives, not just enabling us to face whatever life brings, (though it does this), but more, to both excel and achieve our fullest potential.

Jesus came to earth and caused a small group, including humble fishermen, a civil servant, and a political enthusiast to be a channel of great blessing and change throughout the whole world.

As a Church family of varied ages, occupations and nationalities there is a place for all to move onwards & upwards in discovering Gods exiting personal plans and purposes.

Your Friend in His Service,

Pastor Paul.
