It's Election Time!! As if you hadn't noticed!

Big decisions have to be made. The Bible advises us to "watch and pray". Let us "watch" what our candidates are saying (and what they are not saying), and pray for wisdom as to who best to vote for. Whatever the outcome - we need to pray for our nation. 
In all the decisions & challenges of life - JESUS promises to be a rock, an anchor and a guide to us, if we draw near to Him in faith and follow Him. 
It was great last month to be encouraged by the visit of the team from Bible College. This month we welcome Enzo, a Bible student from 1997 as well as Steph from YFC, Kris Goring from the seaman's mission and "The castles".
It is always good to hear news of those who have gone out in mission from here, Peter and Sue Rimmer who were ministering in Holyhead are soon moving to lead a Church in Scotland and Jason is this month travelling and working out in Kosovo and the Ukraine. 
A word of personal advice from the Bible -
" You need to persevere so that when you have done the will of God, you will receive what He has promised." Heb.10 v 36.
