As we move into February with its Valentine's Day and National Marriage Week Celebrations as a Church its good to be able to say : -

" WE BELIEVE IN MARRIAGE AND THE FAMILY!!!"

I am sure like me, you will find the words of the Christian Peer Lord Mackay a breathe of common sense, in a confused society afraid to speak out.  He says:-

"I believe strongly that children need love and security, in a home where you have husband and wife, father and mother... if there is any hope of saving a marriage it should be built on."

We all need family.  As a Church we not only aim to support the traditional family unit, but also to recognise that God regards himself as our Father.   Like the prodigal in the parable Jesus told, we may not be very close to God.   Yet He is waiting to draw close to us if only we in faith turn towards Him.
