Apostle Ousman of Burkina
Faso visits EFC
Wednesday 18th June
Apostle Ousman is the leader of the Church of Pentecost in
Burkina Faso. This is a strongly Muslim nation and one of
the poorest economies in the world. Yet Apostle Ousman and
the Church in Burkina Faso have been seeing encouraging growth
and outreach into the nation.
Following the visit of our very own Pastor
Paul Walker to Ghana and Burkina Faso in November 2002, we are looking
forward to a renewal of friendship and an evening of sharing on the
18th of June.
Please come and join us at 7.30pm
for the celebration of friendship and the oneness that we have
in Jesus Christ. |

An Update from
Jackie Davis
An excert from the letter of Jackie
Davis, whose charity (supporting orphan children in Romania) we
supported some time ago with a concert by "Heaven Scent".
"I have just
returned from my 10th trip, and what a very successful trip it was.
We have now donated our third apartment in the name of "Johnny
England", and that means we have rehoused 24 orphan children and one
special family.
The first two
apartments are in a tiny village called Odobesti, and house children
from five to eighteen years old. The third one, just
completed, is in a town called Focsani, and will house the older
children, so we feel happy that we have helped all age ranges.
All the houses are running so well and we have spoken to the
children - who are so happy. They say that for the first time
they are being cared for and have everything they need - thee meals
a day, clean clothes, facilities for bathing, and most importantly,
someone there constantly who cares about them.
Please send my
deepest thanks to your Church, as they helped us with this project.
Every penny you kindly donated went with me and has helped many
children. Once again thank you very much." |
